After breakfast, embark on a scenic 6-7 hour road journey from Lusaka to Musungwa Safari Lodge, located at the edge of Kafue National Park, Zambia’s largest and oldest national park. Along the way, pass through small villages and vast open landscapes before arriving at your lodge. In the afternoon, set sail on a sunset boat cruise on Lake Itezhi-Tezhi, where elephants and hippos gather at the water’s edge. Dinner will be a special experience, introducing you to the flavors of Zambia’s culinary traditions. Rest up—tomorrow, you experience one of the world’s greatest natural wonders.
Start your day with rhino tracking in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, one of the last places in Zambia where you can see these magnificent creatures in the wild. Accompanied by expert rangers, get up close to these gentle giants while learning about conservation efforts to protect them.
After a scenic picnic lunch in the bush, head to Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Stand in awe as you witness the “Smoke that Thunders,” where millions of gallons of water plunge into the Zambezi Gorge, creating rainbows and mist clouds visible from miles away.
